After years spent photographing mountain peaks, changing skies, and perfect light, a spring day rock hounding along the Yellowstone River opened the door to a new passion.
What began with one beautiful cabochon became a fascination with the colors and patterns revealed when a rough stone is cut, shaped, and polished.
